The first ten years of activity

From the minutes of the board meeting of the Beretta Foundation of 12/11/1993:

“I would like to remind you of the significance of today’s meeting in the life of The Beretta Foundation. It is the first time in the ten years of the Foundation’s existence that the chair at thismeeting has not been held by Pier Giuseppe Beretta. His death has been commemorated in many places all over the world and many have recalled his many qualities, which in fact made him eminent in different fields: in politics, economics, art and music.

All of us who knew him personally are aware of the way in which he paid attention to any kind of partnership that was socially relevant and remember the ability and passion that he devoted to setting up this project, which has now become reality in our Foundation.”
